ACC-Test DeviceFunctional Description: The ACC – Test Device developed by Concept simulates a forward driving test-vehicle for testing ACC- Systems. ACC-Systems (Adaptive Cruise Control Systems) are used for identification of vehicles, determination of speed and amongst others to control braking intervention or engine intervention as well as fort he identification of preventive driving assistance systems (CMBS –Collision Mitigation Brake System). more... Virtual Product DevelopmentA huge part of product development takes place in virtuality. At the same time the importance of virtual simulation methods is growing and growing. Via virtual product development product quality will be enhanced, developmental periods and costs will be reduced. Due to the utilisation of optimisation tools in conception it is possible to increase the stage of maturation of solutions and the engineer itself gets the help to find new approachs. We position ourselves as development service provider in the field of virtual product development. Our company philosophy is straight and presents continuity: Perpetual upgrading of our competences in the field of utilisation of new development methods to be able to react just in time to customer requirements. more... |

FE simulation model for Radioss V5Pedestrian Detection Impaktor – PDI![]() The Pedestrian Detection Impactor (PDI) was developed for detection of the lower limit for pedestrian protection sensor system, together with the “AK Sensorik” by order of PDB. The impactor is used for dimensioning of active pedestrian protection systems. Within the scope of misuse tests this impactor is used to define the lower limit, which means the active system has just to detect this loading case. The impactor matches with a 6 year old child. The impactor consists on the following 4 elements: • Carbon tube with lead core • Inner foam part • Outer foam part • Closing plug for carbon tube – below (avoid against damage) The impactor will be placed on a socket to guarantee the adequate height. more...
