Our multi-functional crash facilities are designed for head-on crash tests, side-crash tests (pole impact), rear crash tests and sled tests with an apparatus for the static and dynamic “roll-over”, with driveable barriers, a lighting system with day-light quality, all modern dummy-types in the customary instrumentation and two film pits.
The crash area for entire vehicle and component tests represents the link between the interior space development and the assembly development. The step from the calculative performance of the front, back and side crashes and slide tests, up to the actual performance, will thus be completed.
Practicable Experiment Types
- Head-on crash against the block with various purpose elements (0°, 30°, Offset, Pole, etc.) according to ECE and FMVSS
- Rear and side impact tests with a moveable barrier according to ECE and FMVSS
- Slide tests with free programmable delay systems
