Supplier Management

In the end it is the customers who profits from our extensive supply management, because it is they who then receive high quality at a reasonable price and an assured compliance with delivery time-limits.

Before an order transaction is carried out, the supplier selection is made in accordance with the following criteria:

- Technical competence; to be able to meet the requests of the order.

- Low cost / performance conditions

- High level of quality

- Previous experience from transacted orders, (see “Judgement Following Transaction of Order”) Only suppliers, who have made a positive impression, will be considered for future employment.

- In the case of a new supplier, that supplier will be assessed extensively (see “Selection of a new Supplier”)

- Extended examinations will be made according to size of order:

Plausible assurance of free completion capacities, so that the entire order can be transacted on time.

Credit investigation to assure thatthey are able to carry out the order, or subsequently, if need be, to call in bank guarantees, which will insure eventual down-payments and transaction of the order right up to conclusion.

Selection of a New Supplier:

- Experts from the commercial register

- Examination Certificate, Seal of Quality, Certification

- Proof of special qualifications

- List of machinery grounds

- Customer List of References

- If a supplier should be needed for a special and/or larger order, a further examination of the completion area and machinery grounds will be carried out locally. This way other features of the supplier, such as reliability in respect to quality and contract completion, will be obtained and classified:

   - How is the internal work procedure; Can a smooth and faultless run be guaranteed?

  - What are conditions of the machinery grounds and storage area like (clean and well-serviced,or run-down)?



Judgement Following Transaction of Contract:

- Appearance of Firm: Reachability, Dependability, Reaction to short-notice requests

- Technical and commercial handling: know-how, competence; creativity/flexibility; reaction and changes

- Opinion of Performance for the entire length of the contract transaction:
